Attention Subaru Mechanics

After researching how to remove the fuel injectors from our engines, I decided the "grab it with a pair of vice grips and pry up with a screwdriver" method wasn't the best way to go (granted it appeared to be the only way....). I searched the Internet and wasn't able to find a tool to do the job, so I sat down with my machinist and we fabricated the prototype puller you see here. I've used it to remove six injectors from their respective fuel rails with absolutely no damage to the injectors  . Looking at the way hoses work within our engine bay, you will have to remove the air intake hose on the passenger's side and the A/C line on the driver's side in order to use it if the injectors/fuel rails are still on the engine (and the engine is still in the car  ). If anyone is interesting in the puller, my machinist has agreed to fabricate finished versions for $30+shipping. This price includes everything you see in the pictures below (except for the fuel injectors and the fuel rail....). Drop me a PM if you're interested, I do have a PayPal account.

That is really cool, and for $30, what could go wrong?

Now I just need to find a reason to remove my injectors... where's my Supercharger kit...?

Earl,
I responded to your PM. I have to take the prototype over to the Post Office to check on the cost of shipping (there will be no "handling" charges! :D  )
