bad news, chaps.
Bad news, chaps. Top Gear (UK) has been canceled following yet another inappropriate outburst and assaulting from the orangutan, Jeremy Clarkson. More importantly, they were going to road test the new wrx sti in this season's penultimate episode. Now Im faced with the unfortunate task of forming my own opinions about the car. Such a shame. :(

Re: bad news, chaps.
Top gear wouldn't been the same without him, glad they canceled it.
Maybe they will go to another station, or Netflix, and do the show there. |
Re: bad news, chaps.
That's going to hurt the BBC financially in a huge way.
Netflix has all the old episodes to watch and there are about 20 seasons or so. |

Re: bad news, chaps.
I've watched every TopGear Netflix has. They're about a year behind the live show, maybe more. Now that Jeremy got himself fired I can't even find reruns of the current season on BBC America either. *grumble*

Re: bad news, chaps.
Maybe he could come to the USA? Would surely best the version we had.

Apparently he's not a good employee, he likes to hit people and call them names. This was the final incident that forced the BBC to fire him even if the co worker doesn't press charges. http://www.theguardian.com/media/201...eremy-clarkson Something about the guy, as funny and good a journalist as he is on the show, comes across as a complete a**, and probably deserved what happened to him. God knows how many stories have not seen the light of day from the production of Top Gear. |
Re: bad news, chaps.
I was aware of the assault issues.I was referring to the removal of old episodes
The show was already on hold and he had been suspended. The cancellation is the big news. They should just dump him and get somebody with a better disposition. |

I'm perfectly OK with them throwing a new crew together and hoping for the best.
I propose David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston, and someone who resembles a middle-aged Tom Baker. |
Re: bad news, chaps.
Clarkson, Hammond, and May signed a deal with amazon.
http://jalopnik.com/clarkson-hammond...vid-1721030309 I knew the BBC was going to regret firing him, like he wouldn't take his act somewhere else. |
