Car Meet

There is a car meet at Linvilla Orchids in Delaware County, PA this Sun., 5/18/03, from 10 AM to 4PM. The entrance fee to show a car is $10. Admission to walk around is free. I don't have all the details yet. I'll get the phone no. tonight & post it. I may show Rosie's '94 Pearly LSi or SUBYDOO.
Linvilla Orchids has been around for over 100 years. They are an institution in this area. They have great apple pies. They are an active farm, have a petting zoo and are child & pet friendly. They also have a homemade ice cream stand. They have 2 big St. Bernard's. Brandy intentionally bumps into little kids so that the child drops his/her ice cream cone. Then Brandy licks it up. The kid then starts to wail so daddy & mommy buy the kid another ice cream. Brandy is so smart that he never bumps the same kid twice.

They are about 25 miles south of the Phila. airport. They are located just off rte. 352 on Linville Rd.
From Philly take I-95 S to the exit for Edgemont Ave. (rte 352) in Chester PA. Thak rte 352 west for 7-8 miles, then make a left onto Linville Rd.
I'll update this tonight.

Dangit! I'm missing some opportunities. I had planned on entering the Bar-B-Q Festival this past weekend. However, my inconsiderate stepson had to graduate with his masters on that day (J/K I'm proud of him). THEN, I had just about talked myself into showing up at the DRAGON run when I realized my Daughter is graduating high school this weekend. What's an SVXer to do? ;) :D

You could skip the graduation and come to Carlisle's import show. They're giving away a Fiat 850 but I wouldn't count on winning it. It is all MINE!!!:D

Car Meet Follow-up

The phone number for Linvilla Orchids is 610-429-9669.
Hope to see many of you there Sunday.

Randy,

I believe that the sash color of the graduation gown for a Master's Degree is either gold or yellow. :D :D

Actually, they wear a "hood." Mark's was light blue at the neck, with red and white stripes, surrounded by black, on the back. :p :D
