Here are the pictures I took at last year's run.
http://www.spmicro.com/gallery/48hrs04 The guy that organizes this event drives an SVX. mikecg, myself, and Subafreak from this forum all did the entire drive last year. Subafreak was in his monster Loyale though. Any Subaru can come. The run took place over 4 days and went through 4 US states, 1 Canadian province, and over the Atlantic Ocean. About 1500 miles total. Last year's run started on Long Island and ended at dinner in Woodbridge, NJ. Here's a map from last year's route: http://www.spmicro.com/albums/48hrs04/overview.jpg |
I would describe it as a crazy balls out run across the northeast.
Being in Jan you would expect pleanty of snow, but last year we had a bit of every season during the run, Snow, cold, damp, down pores, sunny, and warm. Something you have to do at least once for the fun of it. I plan to do it again this year if I can. Hint: Don't expect to get to much sleep.;) |
