What was the cause of the noise? I'm guessing this is what you are speaking of. :)

The vibration was hard to identify...
We swapped out the untouched open low milage 4.44, that I installed a couple of months ago, with another low milage 4.44 from the shelf.
The axles were fully seated, the driveshaft stayed in..
The rotors were warped, 0.003" on the right rear, about 0.002" on the left.
It just seems like the stock untouched Subaru rear differential, went bad.:confused::rolleyes:
