smokin'

My 94 is smoking. I have an oil leak. I have 95,000 miles on the front wheel drive car. I believe I need to have my motor gone thru quite extensively.

Questions I have, should I change out the timing chain?
For a rebuild, what seals and parts should I order?
Where would be the best place to order the parts?
Any suggestions on a good place in Maryland to have the work done and what should one expect to spend on a rebuild?
I also need to replace both front struts, same question, any additional parts to be ordered besides the struts?

I can't afford another car so I need and want to keep this guy going. Its too cool and fun a car to write off. At some point I need to have something that fits all 3 kids in it, until then I hope to keep my SVX running.

Thanks in advance for any help.

cheers

Ken

send a PM to SVXfiles, he does a lot of work out of his own shop for a great price

Check out his website at http://www.svxfiles.com

I can vouch for all of his work firsthand. Between "young Tom" and "old Tom", there is nothing that can't be fixed on the SVX. They both do first-rate work.

svxfiles is in Wiley Ford, WV (about 130 miles / 2 hrs. from you) TomsSVX is 5 miles further away in Philadelphia (135 miles)
