Long time ago, my dad bought a German Sheperd directly from Belgium, this dog was trained to track land mines, intruders and missiles. In our Civil Lebanese War in 1981-82 , this dog saved the lives of many men in my hometown, he attacked at 2am a brigade of 8 men sneaking through the forest side to invade our village, killed 6 with his teeth (he grabed them by the neck) and injured 2 which were kept as prisoners.... he was a beast ! and once he also attacked a wild pig weighing around 900 pounds and killed him, he thought he was an intruder... and finally he died by saving the lives of a family of five by throwing himself on a hand grenade opened by mistake by a little kid of 14 years old... the family was injured only.

My dad was depressed over him for a whole month. What a stupid way for a hero to die !!! :mad: :mad:
