The Subaru SVX World Network - Site Modification Request--Area for Meets

I have had a few people who excitedly e-mail me after seeing the Oak Ridge Meet video (click here if you haven't seen it). They ask, "When is the next meet?" I tell them to check this site but it's hard to tell them where to look.

Yes, you can go to the "Regional SVX Forums & Clubs" section but it has not been very active. Plus there is no Southwest or Northeast region and what if you're on the cusp of a region, you could go to another region's meets. Not very practical to get an overview of meets going on in the country.

I know there is a Calendar area on the site but it is cluttered by birthdays. If there were a meet listed on it, it wouldn't have enough information. You'd want to know more like where it is, who to contact, what's the agenda, etc.

I propose adding a forum titled "Upcoming Meets" under "SVX Main Forums" (where General Babble, Mod Mania, etc. are). This way there would be ONE place to go to see the latest information on any meet in the country.
