Road trip tomorrow, Anyone wanna meet up?
 

Tomorrow I'll be going from Akron, Ohio to Buffalo,Ny then from Buffalo to schenectady,Ny then from schenectady to Allentown, Pa. to pick up some tires. I'll be crashing for the night somewhere along the way. I have to be in buffalo at noon and I'm leaving Akron at 7 AM but I can leave earlier if people want to get together. Let me know. Jason

Yep. Have to go to buffalo for the money then on to schenectady to deliver it to the shop where the car is. The guy should be popping up on here soon since I told him about us. Wish you could come meet up. I was thinking about side tracking for a second over to niagara falls, but I don't know yet.:rolleyes:

I just saw this... I work in Allentown... What was the great deal on tires that got you to drive that far out of the way? was it a private sale? or a shop that I need to know about??

I'm back. Sorry for the short notice on going, But it was a last minute thing. I got the tires there because I've had no luck finding 4 used tires my size around here. They had 4 goodyear RS-A's with 6/32 tread for 115 bucks, so I said what the hell and went and got them. Then I went down the street and got jipped into paying 64 bucks:eek: to have them mounted and balanced. But man what a difference over my cheapo worn out POS's. All the vibration is gone now and they REALLY stick to the road well. Pretty smooth and quiet riding too.;) I was running with a 2005 BMW 745i through Pa. doing 105 for miles and it felt like 55.:) I can't believe how fast people cruise along in NY,NJ, and PA. Cruising at 90 with 5 or 6 other cars was common. You just don't do that **** in Ohio.(unless you want to meet up with a judge) I noticed that when I hit Ohio everyones pace immediately dropped from 80-85 to 70.:rolleyes: But anyway, The place is in allentown in the basement of a old building. It seems to be run by a russian kid and a black kid that are younger than me! But it's stocked wall to wall with tires and it ain't no small place.
