Legacy owners

For christ's sake, will one of you lazy bums go out to your cars and tell me if the sunvisors are remotely close to the SVX ones? LOL ;)

Thanks

Visors

Not really all that similar but I'm sure with a little work one could be made to fit. If I were you though I'd go after a XT6 visor. Much closer in materials and look but they tend to suffer the same fate as SVX visors.

Or you could buy a visor from me. I have a passenger side grey visor for sale!

This is true, but I'm cheap. And $40USD is like $76436897 Canadian. lol :) I'll let you know by the end of the week. I wanna try to find one locally first.

The actual Legacy visor is pretty close…BUT the bracket that bolts it to the roof is NOT the same, it is straight where the SVX has a crook in it, causing the visor to not fit up in the “Valley” in the SVX headliner.

The XT6 visors are smaller than the SVX, but they have METAL brackets instead of plastic, that have the right crook for the SVX, the bracket in the SVX wears out sometimes, causing the visor to droop, if the bracket is you problem, get some XT6 brackets to replace the plastic ones.

This won’t help if your visor is cracked inside,….which happens sometimes too.

What would be the best replacement, aside from the stock one, to replace a snapped visor? or two? Minimal modification?

If you've broken the brackets, then I'd remove the broken piece from the old visor (run a screw up into the broken piece then pull it out), then get some metal brackets out of an XT6 and insert them into your Stock visor, then bolt them back on.
This is what I did on my passenger side visor, as it was broke off when I got it.

Nope. Arm snapped in half on the passenger side visor. The driver side visor is just droopy, but hopefully repairable.
