4.11 swap, once again
 

i have found a ,legacy gt 2001 manual, 200 000 Km he's selling the whole transmission and rear differential (4.11) for 300 $CA , i would take out the gears from the differential and swap them into our front differential. do you think its a deal ? i wish to keep my transmission since i got 2 new 4eat in my yard.

since i won't do this by myself i'd like to know if it is doable first if so wich parts i would need with them, thanks

Sorry, but the gears from a manual transaxle will not fit in an automatic transaxle.

so i should find any automatic wrx,impreza ts and outback sport 02-03....quite rare, is there any recent automatic cars that had 4.11 ....
edit : i guess this is too much trouble , isn't it ?

is there any way of fitting\swapping automatic final gear from a 4.11 transmission into the svx transmission housing ? will it give me a lot of trouble ?? :repost: please?
