Baja Turbo AT in a SVX?
Would a Baja turbo auto transmission work in a SVX. Not sure what the gear ratios are but thought it might be an option.

Is it a 4 speed with locking TC?

I know that it is a 4 speed but I'm not sure about the locking TC. It has the sport shift feature which is similar to triptronic, autostick, etc. I believe it is unique to the turbo model.

I don't believe any 4HEAT transmissions past 1999 will work with our TCU...

reqired = rewired...gotta love the qwerty keyboard:p the rewiring is required since our ECU talks with our TCU -Bill |
Wally is right... I meant rewired. The biggest problem is, our ECU talks with the TCU BUT the phase II 4eat like the one you are looking at talks a lot more with the TCU and about different topics too like the MAF voltage and other things as well... It would be very hard to wire it properly and as soon as I can get a phase II trans and I have no jobs listed in the shop I will try and tackle this again

I tried using a 1998 2.5RS Autotranny TCU in my SVX and it did not like it at all. I posted about it here--> http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...&highlight=tcu |
