the nnew 2006 Civic SI

What do you guys think of it? i know you all are Subby fans, but I personaly am planning on getting one. Before my SVX I had a 2000 civic with some work done to it (nothing rice). And I miss Honda. And a 200 HP 6 speed is a nice start for a car i think. Plus its about 10K less then a WRX STI which besides an SVX is the only subby I really like.

I really like the look. I hated the current look when they came out. I can tell the difference between the accord and the civic anymore.

I WANT!  :D now to close the mouth....

That looks worlds better than the present one. I was selling Hondas when that one came out and I was severely dissapointed. Looked like a weeble car.

SubaSteevo 05-13-2005 10:25 PM

I like it!

...still won't buy one though

How come the rear wheels look like they're 12" in diameter?

They figure everyone who buys one is going to put big wheels on it anyway, so they put big ones in the front to maximize traction and little ones in the back to cut costs :D

its called the perspective effect guys... ever take a drawing or drafting class... they are probably the same size as the fronts, but again, I also would not be totally suprised if they are smaller(dunno why)

Where did the door handles go? Nice computer rendering of the car; definitely not a production photo.

Here are some spy shots of the real thing. Or at least the closest to the real thing since this is the Type R destined for Europe, Japan and the rest of the continents. As you can see the Type R is a hatch while the Si we get in the states is a coupe, so far from reports unlike countless years before there will be no performance or chassis differences between the two. Then again, thats what Ford said about the Focus.

thundering02 05-15-2005 07:13 PM

I dont want that :p
