I would just like to take this time to say that I am very sorry for not replying to the PM's or posts over this forum. The dealership I am working for decided not to continue with doing the car club discounts and such for some reason or another a few months ago so I really couldn't do much posting and such. I have done some phone orders with a few people in the past and I appreciate your business very much.

Now for the good news...just rescently they are allowing me to pick the clubs and internet business back up so once again I will be able to extend some good discounts to you.

I hope that the actions of upper management have not tarnished the names of our friendly parts staff and I hope that I can be of some assistance to you guys in the future.

Jackie and Robyn are both great! They have always been very helpful. I had the two rear struts I bought through them go bad within warrenty and they did a great job getting me replacement struts.

That's a pretty good discount Jackie. However, since you've been gone I've been selling parts to members here at COST + 10%. I figure we're a big family here, so anyone who wants to buy parts using my employee discount is welcome to.:)

I wish that I could sell them at cost + 10, which is my employee discount but unfortunately, here they monitor what employee's buy. I am not sure if I could explain why I needed 7 SVX Struts.

when I worked for kerven subaru I was offering parts to network members at cost + 15%. But, i dont work there anymore. :(

Okay, who wants to explain the difference between List -20% and Cost +15% (or another way, List = Cost + ?)

For example:

SVX Front Strut - 20311PA011

List: $129.95

-20%: $103.96

Cost + 15%: $89.67

I'll be honest - mechanical is usually 30-50% markup and accessories hover right around 30-35 most of the time. It's really not bad at all compared to alot of other car lines. The profit margin is considerably higher in makers such as Isuzu which we carry or Volvo.
