Racing seat???
Looking for a racing seat that'll can be easily adapted to the SVX seat frame rails. Wanna be able to move it and retain the stock mounts so I don't have to weld new ones for the race car.

Sparco Speed seat -- 17#
I think it should work, but I haven't worked out the adapter design.... -Bill |
Evo......15lbs. And real close to a direct fit.;)

NASIOC guys seem to sell them alot, keep your eyes open. |
Yeah, $800 will break our racing budget unless we get this sponsor parts car from Manheim Auto Auction. Then we can sell parts to recoup our costs. Til then I think I can make the stock d-seat work with a 6 point belt. At least it'll work for autoxing and my weight reduction plan only needs to get down to the sub 2640 level if we stick with AWD. Would like to get it down to at least 2400 though and put balast on the chasis.

Well I had 4 point belts with my stock seats, (Whats a 6 point belt?) The only tricky part with a 5 point belt would be the ball strap, it wouldn't really be where it should. |
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW Ebay is always a good choice, but it doesnt say how much they weigh.

Ben,
why not just replace the driver's seat with a passenger's seat? This will free up around 20# (I think) -Bill |
