This is the first order of business. With this information I can try and negotiate a favorable group rate at the Holiday Inn. Hopefully it will be better than online booking with other hotel sites.


We have to exclude tax weekend (April 12-14) and Easter weekend (April 19-21)

That leaves the last weekend in April (April 26-28)

The second weekend in May is Mothers Day (May 12) so that’s out.

So that leaves the first weekend in May (May 3-5) and possibly the third weekend (May 17-19)

The last weekend in May is Memorial Day weekend

I vote for May 3-5. Cinco di Mayo. That way Randy and Shari won't be running around looking for fresh mint for juleps, like this year.
