What is it? Leaky air hose
1 Attachment(s)
The other day I was gazing at my beautiful but dirty engine while it was idling when I noticed an air hose coming out of the back of my intake manifold was leaking. Upon further inspection I see it's cracked rather badly on the underside and I'm surprised it's even staying on.
It doesn't really have any slack otherwise I'd just chop off the bad part. My question is how important is this little vacuum hose and how urgent is it that I get it fixed? |
That's the fuel pressure regulator hose, and I would consider it important to the well running motor.

Ok, I undid the little twisty tie to get some slack then I chopped off the bad end and put the hose back on. I think it'll work for now but that plastic is so old and brittle I don't trust it. Thanks a lot!
