finding a drivetrain

Where can i go online to find the gearing from a forrester or outback?

This is turning out to be harder to find than i thought.

http://www.cars101.com/

Press the site map link, and you'll find another link showing specs for all subarus. I'm pretty sure all the gear ratios are included.

4.44

sorry if i seem vague and so on. I am not that technically minded and dont know all of the correct terms to use.

The only US market Subarus with 4.44 LSD final drive are the '04+ Forester XT manual, the '04+ Baja Turbo manual, and the '00-01 Impreza 2.5RS automatics. The '98 and '99 Impreza RS was also 4.44 in the automatic, but came with a standard open rear diff.

If you need the gears themselves (physically) and not just the information, drop me a PM.
