still wanted to keep u guys on a heads up my svx is still in the
shop !!!!!!


3 months now and still siting on blocks with its guts pulled out,

so far parts replaced

2 motor mounts 160.00 a piece
new cam 270.00
new valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and cam seal gaskets 180.00$

transmission FWD diffrentials and main reduction gear and shaft
550.00$

and abought 700.00 worth of labor maybe,

so abought 2,000$ worth of work geting put in my svx, on top of that i had the tranmssion rebuilt last year, wich costed me 1,600 for that

so basically all with in this year i have 3,600$ in reciepts worth of work and labor,


ohh not to mention i wont have AC went i get it back i have to refill that =<

so basically suxs to be me !!!!!

When you are done, it will be perfect though.

For sure. Solar, your car has always looked really nice... and after this, you should be able to drive it for another 150k miles. :) G'luck!

If it makes any difference, that's a pretty good price for the tranny that you got. :rolleyes:
