New tires!

I finally got some brand spanking new tires today due to the fact I hit a pothole last weekend that caused a HUGE bubble in the sidewall of one of my Goodyear Eagle RS-A's. I went cheap and got Fuzion ZRi's for 93 bucks a piece and I'm also getting a 4 wheel alignment too. The guy told me they were really good tires for the price and that he'd had no complaints about them at all. He was very interested in the SVX too and can't wait to look it over when I get the tires installed in the morning. I'll give you all a review of what I think of them after I put some miles on them tomorrow and work them a little.;)

Which pothole did you hit?...lol

There are too many of them on I-77

Let us know if the tires are noisy and good/bad on wet roads. Thanks

Budfreak,
I've been running on ZRi's for a year now and am happy with the results. But, man, I had to pay more than $93.00. They are 17" though.

I hit it on Wally road out at Mohican last weekend. It was pretty huge and I didn't see it because it was dark. I just got back from getting them installed and my car looks GREAT with it's shiny new stock wheels and tires. Yes, you heard it right, No more flakey wheels for me.:) So far I've only got like 5 miles on them, But they definitely seemed quiet and the ride is really good too. I haven't gotten to check the tire pressure the guy put in them yet though. It was raining when I left the place and they seemed to do just fine. The guy tried to put a few wheels on backwards too and I had to go out and correct him and have him swap the tires around and all that. That's why I always stand there and watch them work on it.;)

I heard there is a place called Motomotion in medina...I haven't taken them there yet...I needs more money first.

Well, Shiney as far as stock wheels go. I guess I'm just use to my flaked dull wheels and to me these are shiney. I bought them off Mikecg at Reading.;)

Jason, how are your new tires? Drive faster and have fun, however, be careful, that'll be sucked if the new tires get hit and has bubble. That's happened to my mx-3's new tires. Only 7k miles so far, one nail hits right near the sidewall and got a bubble now...:(

Well, I took a nice long trip today and these tires are really great for the price. They seem to be very sticky, the ride is much better than before, and the handling has improved too with much better response to steering input. They even saved my ass right at the beginning of the trip when I went to change lanes and some dip**** in a probe flew up off an on ramp and into the lane I was heading for. I saw him at the last second and whipped it back into the lane I was in. The back end snapped loose and had to be corrected a little, But it held in there nicely and saved the day. I think my goodyears would have let me slide into the wall. I recommend the fuzion ZRi tires so far with zero complaints.;)

ive had compliants about them in one case a guy that was running Yokohama Prada Spec 2's put those on and said that they tires drove like they were really low on air but im one to talk i have the Fusion HRi's on my car... and they were nice at first but they have gotten really loud

I'm still loving them so far. Very grippy compared to what I'm use to and smooth, quiet riding.:)

Hey that's cheating...lol I'm going to take them somewhere to get them refinished....then I'll have to repaint the caps myself.
