The 2cyl, 36hp, 1000lb Subaru 360. It was first brought to the US in early 1968, but it had been sold in Japan since '61.

You were so close the first time, except for you numbers but I wasn't checking those. The correct answer would have been "wagon and BRAT" The Turbo coupe didn't come out till later.

I have a few questions. I'll start with an easy one:

1) Which recent Subaru used an engine that was NOT horizontally opposed?

2) The SVX was referred to as "Project 23A". What was the 1st generation Outback project name/code?

3) What is the slope (in degrees) of the SVX windshield?

4) The Winter/Summer wiper switch was first used on which Subaru?

5) Only one Subaru had headlight washers. Which one was it?

All questions refer to U.S. models.

1. Justy (and Vivio and Sumo :D )

5. I was going to say "All SVXii with the steering wheel on the proper side"
