More UK meet photos

I have just got my film digitised, and have posted images of the meet in my personal locker.

There are photos of modifications in a sub folder also. Graham's car has a 5 speed fitted, and has impressive big custom brakes. Rob's car has a tow hitch, he uses it to tow his race car, says the SVX is very stable and capable.

More to come, let you know,

Joe:)

Big brakes

Yes, they are the business Chris.

Graham could get you a set done OK. The bell housing is custom manufactured. Remember you would have to go to bigger rims to accommodate them, so it adds to the cost.

Send him a PM, he will give you the costs and details.

seems all SVX owners

all over the world are passionate about these cars, and thats really cool to see. Id love to see more pics of the 5 spd car and the front brake set up. Also, why is it I didnt see one car over there with a rear wing on it...??????
Viva la SVX !!

Without a wing and a prayer

Dayle,

Randy was saying the same thing. We had 9 different cars, but, due to people coming and going, we only had 7 together at any one time.

One of the [3] black over claret cars had a wing. That was Phil and Belhas car, B3HLA. It was the hi-spec Japanese market one, had all the bells and whistles, including four wheel steer. Now that I think of it, possibly Fuji changed the rear suspension settings for the four-wheel-steer set-up. A few remarked that their car also sat lower at the rear, compared to the rest of our cars.

Graham has done a lot of expensive development work on his pearlie aside from brakes and 5 speed. He has a rootes blower ready to fit. Reckons it will be pumping about 400 hp. He has already dropped the c/r to 8.5, and has strengthened the internals, ceramic coated pistons, you name it. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. He hopes to sell the kit commercially when finished. It will be a worthwhile mod for petrolheads. Fancy taking on the US franchise??
