Sleeve-lock regulator installation
Ok, I have the sleeve-lock regulator in place. The window went up, but it wont go down. And, I have alot of slack in the wire. How do I tighten it up? Would this be the reason why the window will not go down? Also, the round pulley inside the door near the top has been cracked around the edges somewhat. How do I replace this? Help me out here guys, this window hasnt worked in almost 5 months.

Here is a pic of the motor. Is the adjuster screw somewhere in this pic?

Did you slip the sleeve lock regulator between the hex shaped piece that connects the wire cable together?
I am not sure why you have so much slack  I replaced mine last week |

Heres a pic of the passanger side door. This is exactly how I installed the sleeve-lock regulator. And, it gives anyone trying to install it, an idea of what it is and how it fits in the window.

When I replace my regulator. I used the power window switch to adjust the hex piece in place so that it would line up to the regulator. I don't know what happens when you pull on the cable.

You may need to just buy a new or good used regulator. From the dealer they are about $95 |
