Ahh yes Banks. Quite possibly one of the biggest ripoffs there is. Incon makes 1200hp turbo kits for the LS series motors for about half that price. Better yet, buy a crate LS2 with 405hp ($6000) or an LS7 with 515hp ($10000) and slap a Vortec S-trim blower on either, you'll be pushing close to 1000hp for less than $20000 without some aftermarket brand motor to worry about.

Not to say that engine sucks or anything, but the price is just...um...without explanation.

Thirty eight grand. More than an average American makes in a year. For a small block?

A small block that can put out 1600hp? That does not have longevity written on it.

They talk a lot about the power, the performance, the equipment, the turbos, the everything but any warranty.

Be a lot cheaper to mount a jet engine on the back, and then you wouldn't have to worry about traction and drivetrain wear...

SRT-4 is fastAr.

I don't see it. The outfit is just like LPE Engineering, only more expensive.

He holds a few Bonneville speed records and you are basically paying for a big name.
In any case I think Banks makes a damn good engine.
