10th Anniversary Meet Dilemma...
 

What has the general public set aside as a 10th Ann. Meet 'Budget' if you will? I know that this is a bit of a personal question, but I am beginning to doubt my ability to afford it after the needed repairs...

Keeping in mind that I have no idea what is wrong or how much it will cost, I just know that something is wrong.

Thoughts, suggetions, flames?

I have also been considering my budget for the trip. The main expenses will be the hotel rooms and the fuel required to get there and back.

Homewood = $79 * 3 days = $237
Hampton = $62 * 3 days = $186

Marlton is approx 720 miles from Lafayette. I pay approx. $0.10/mile in my SVX so 720 miles * both ways * 0.10 = $144

Also being considered is food, the SIA Plant tour and any possible repairs along the way. (don't forget 2.5% for shop materials :D )

Its not so much that, but that my car doesnt have AWD... and I dont want to lose it all together Lwin style, because I cant afford to just buy another one.

And I found out Friday that I no longer have to remain in the Air Force...

$1000 round trip?
Approximately 3000 miles?
