Urethane for bushings, what to use?
My front control arm bushings are shot, and since I don't want to spend the $500/side for new ones, or try out 17 year old used ones, I'm going to make some.
For those who have made bushings, where do you get your urethane? I've heard Home Depot sells some but couldn't find any in a quick search. Also, what durometer would people suggest? |
Re: Urethane for bushings, what to use?
On another board, people have used 3M windowweld with great sucess. I bought a tube, but haven't tried it yet. My CA bushings are shot as well, I'll need to do this soon...

I would do this to fill motor mounts with the quickness, but I haven't heard of anyone using it on anything else... I'll see how you do it.

Durometer 80 Urethane. Windoweld will probably be too flexible.
