I searched up vindecoding to find the number (#???? out of ????) for my SVX.

It's driving me NUTS . I can't understand any bit of it. My VIN doesn't match the VIN Chart. Can somebody show me how to tell what my # my SVX is? Please? I would highly appreciate it. It's a 92 LS-L. On the door it said it was made in 8/91 (August). My VIN is JF1CX3533NH105045

I made a chart thats easier to read for the 92's and 93's attached above. THANKS ALOT ;)

You are missing one number in your VIN.

All Subaru VINs are 17 digits, The one you posted has only 16. If the numbers after NH are 100545, your car would be the 545th one produced.

But according to your chart and your door plate, the VIN could have ended in 104545, which makes it the 4545th one produced.

Whats the correct VIN?

Have a look at this. It's not perfect, but some of it is right.

Maybe somebody with a UK or Aussie service manual has better info?

JF1CX3533NH105045, which should make it #5045.

Its that easy. I thought you had to use a chart or some garbage like that. Thanks.

It helps to use a chart if you want to know other information about the car. :)
