2 in bad shape = 1 in great and leftover parts

Hello SVX World Network, it has been quite some time since I last contributed to the forum, since then I have put 20k on my red SVX and just bought another one!

I tried to post pics, but I didn't have time to get it working, so go here to my myspace pics and you will see everything I TRIED to post
http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=2383001

My first 94 L with falling apart door panels, faulty passenger window switch, crapping out alternator, O2 sensor engine code, cracked rear headrests, sagging driver side sun visor, tranny speed sensor #2 code....... and some more I just can't think of....

And now my new junker 93??!!!!!

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...ageID=39612768

Which I found on the side of the road and bought for...... $170!!!!! lol, not kidding, check it out:

It was the sellers ex-wifes and he can't find the title, and the tranny clicks and slipps but moves the car (great for putting on a trailer, but thats it) THe engine while having an exhaust leak on the drivers side runs very well w/o any engine codes and the tranny (while poop) has no codes, so I guess the Vehicle Speed Sensor #2 is ok!!!

And now to the questions!!

My red 94 has the crappy fake leather interior and is of course in pieces, and the junker 93 has the nice suede and its in great shape. I already took off the door panels under the steering wheel and the glove box door, but I can't get the other panels on the passenger dash off!!! I have gotten this far:

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...ageID=39716336

Anyone done this before??? I can't figure out what order I need to get everything off and the entire dash is now moving with it. I really don't want to remove the dash from my 94, so I need a way to get it done without doing so to the 93 junker also!!!!

Aside from that.... anyone with tranny rebuild experience know where the VSS2 goes? The only side effect I can see is that the first time I leave the driveway every morning it sticks in 1st gear longer than usual. Only other side effect is that under WOT, during shifting the engine cuts out VERY long between shifts, if I pull the throttle back a bit, it shifts, but VERY hard and harshly......

Once again I would LOVE any help on these problems!!!! Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. when I am done with this car, I will have the leftovers up for sale probably here or on ebay, I would love to restore it to driving condition for my sister, but the title situation renders it completely undriveable.....:(

The trans clicking and slipping is more than likely just the front differential and not the transmission.

The silver one in the photos is a 92, not a 93. :)

I actually was toying with putting the AWD power train into my 94 FWD

The 93s are ALL barcelona red with tan interior. :) 92 was the only year they sold the silver color in North America.

Abouth the RWD stuff...

I have seen threads around here about that lately... it isn't that easy.

The inner stubs help keep dirt and grit out of the transaxle, and the outer stubs help hold the front suspension hubs together... so disconnecting the front driveshafts aren't as easy as remove and leave off.

Plus the torque biasing setup at the tail end of the transmission would probably have to be modified to not send power forward, only rearward.

And then, fortify the rear driveline to handle the whole power load, rather than just half of it.

I am no expert, and it has been done, but it doesn't seem like an afternoon shade-tree job.

yeah, i was just joking, the car doesn't have a title anyway. My real problem is getting the suede pieces off of the passenger dash..... anyone??
