we have lost a member

I regret to tell you all of this but one of our members has passed away. "Papedawg" was his network name, but Chris Pape was one of the nicest people in the world. I meet Chris through my roommate at school and once he saw my car he fell in love with it and bought a 94. Pape loved his car as much as everyone else in this group. Chris died sunday night when his car went off the road into the woods and hit a tree, alcohol was a factor. Chris will be missed by everyone that cared for him. I hope that everyone will say a prayer for his family. We used to cruise with our cars together and he used to scream that people were jealous of all our windows. I will never be able to look at my car again with out thinking of Papedawg.

RIP Chris Pape

we will miss you

Very sad

My prayers go out to friends and family of Chris.

With tears

I also offer prayers for the family and friends, and am deeply saddened. Thank you for letting us know. We develop relationships with those people here and often wonder what happened to them. Although I didn't really know Chris, I remember his s/n. It hurts to learn of his passing.

He also worked as a waiter at two Hyannis restaurants to earn enough money for buy the Subaru SVX, which his mother says he loved so much that she will bury its logo with him.

My condolences. It's painful stories like these that have stopped me from driving while drunk or drugged.

Condolences...

...from Austria.

Far away, but my prayers go to family and friends.
It always turns me very sad if someone dies in an accident.

RIP Chris Pape

My condolences. I will say a few prayers for Chris.
He is now in a place where trannys never slip and bearings never squeal.

My prayers go out to the family and friends of Chris. Times like these should remind us how short and special life really is, and that we should not take chances to shorten it even more. Please be careful and don't take chances.
