i am thinking i want to powder coat the rims bronze...

Steve, did you see the post (i think it was SVXFILES) where he posted a pic of bronze murano's? They came out horrible.

I cant remember what thread it was, but they came out mustard instead of bronze.

Just saw the skippy edition of the rx8 rims.
Someone picked a really bad color.

The problem was it was a single stage color powder coat and the gold "metallic" sank down below the color top coat and lost its sparkle.

At Transwheel, they used a two stage process on my stock rims. They actually painted the wheel with the factory color code silver metallic and let it dry. Then the applied the clear powder topcoat to seal everything in and keep the sparkle.

Actually referred to as the "Skippy" edition. There is another one around here, but it is a "Jif" file :lol:

Ok, I'm gonna quit posting this kinda thing, since I realize it's starting to get out of hand, but this one is just perfect for how I feel about this ^ guy's pic.
