SVX Poster Rendering In Progress
Hi all-
Would anyone want to have a large-size SVX poster? I do. :D But it's hard to get one, and a poster is a poster, you can't do anything. So I started my own photo-realistic rendering of SVX based on small SVX photo I had. At the same time I thought this is something I could do to you guys. I spent too much time on this project and it's now almost complete. I use Photoshop to create rendering. And this time I worked on the rendering with extremely hi-resolution so that you can print out quite large. I separated the layer, so I can easily change the color of car. One of the reason I started this project is...customization. In the photoshop you can pretty much control everything. Ok so now I'm this close to finish... some things are still missing. The original color is silver/dark silver bottom/black top. I think I can create some other colors, I will try. If you would like to have it, let me know the color of SVX you want and pixel size. ex.1280x980, etc.. Here is the preview in photoshop. Those of you familiar with photoshop, you know what I'm doing? Creating the paths for reflections. Actually for this one, I made it pearlie from silver. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...aRyu/37100.jpg Anyone interested? |
Cool!
I always wanted to do something like that, but I'm more of a "recreational" photoshop user. :o
If you do one in bordeaux (and why wouldn't you, you have one!:D) I'd definitely like one. Do you think that could be easily exported into Illustrator? |
Very Cool!
If you do one in blue I would love to have it.

Here's for the first request!
Wheels are actually from some catalogue... Headlights are from 3 different SVXs. A lot of tweakings. Still some parts could be done better, but at some point I have to stop doing this since I took so much time on this.. larger images are in my locker if you want!! http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...aRyu/37105.jpg |
Very, very impressive! How many layers did you end up using? Can I put in a request for a '92 Pearl White with a '97 grill (in the native Photoshop file format instead of .jpg)?
-Bill (another "recreational" Photoshop user that knows when to call in the "hired gun" Photoshop pros:cool: ) p.s. what are you using as a "light source" for the reflections on the side of the car...the shape of the light on the side windows has me puzzled.... |
That looks awesome! Thanks! :)

How about a black over yellow :)
|
Well It's definately not laguna blue but it sure is eye catching. I think it will do well for a poster though. Thanks!

This is great. You will probably have requests for all of the colors, so if you do all of them, then members can go to your locker and get the one they want. I will request Barcelona Red. :)
|
Would you put the silver and pearl in your locker too? Thanks :)
|
You need one with a spoiler. :o

Hi all,
I will try to work on each of your request...just give me some time! One good thing about this photoshop file I created is.. you can make any color you want, such as if you wanna see purple, yes you can, pink, yes.:D I've seen Orange metalic and lime green metalic custom paint on SVXs, I can do that as well. Other than original SVX colors, what kinda colors you wanna see?? |
i was just curious if you could add the intercooler to a green one, so that i can pretend it is my car :) here is a pic,
http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil..._SVX/34901.jpg if that is alot of work dont worry about it ;) sweet so far! phil |
