is this a good deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Outba...item19c8353aec

i really need another car that is more of a daily driver than my svx cus i have a lot that needs to be done to it still and it is kind of hard to do when i need the car everyday.

i was looking for something a little cheaper but this is all i could really find...unless someone on here is selling an outback or another Subaru wagon :o

I can't speak for the 3L Six in that car, but the Legacy Wagons are wonderful cars. My '98 has 223K miles on her and still going strong, on it's second motor though. Easy to find parts for, and keeps swallowing gear for a trip like a much larger car. Price doesn't seem unreasonable, but I'd want to see underneath the car for "the rest of the story".

Seems a little high, but in NE there are a ton of Subaru wagons. If it is a dealer with a warranty might be worth it . Looks like some of the ones I looked at in the $6,000 to 7,000 range. 111,000 doesn't scare me body looks good, Sold for mid $20,000 new now almost $9,000 hummmmmm. 9 years old.
I have to take it back. They hold more value than I thought. Best I could find around here.http://newlondon.craigslist.org/ctd/2546299378.html
Found a few 05 but they are in the mid teens.

My father-in-law has an LL Bean one of that. For a wagon, it kicks ass. Not exactly slow either. And the 3.0 engine is very good. Timing chain, and such. No headgasket/turbo issues like the other subie options from those years.

Hey man, what's your price range you're looking at? I've got a buddy who's looking to sell his 96 Outack 5 spd. Since it's a 96 5 spd, it still has the EJ22 which will almost never break and not the crappy quad cam engine.
Heated leather
150kish miles
97+OUtback hood added with the stock hood scoop
Had all the rust issues in the wheel well taken care of, one side he had done about 2 years ago, the other side done by the PO that appears to be starting to bubble up a bit again. Timing belt, water pump, idlers, cam/crank seals, valve cover gaskets have all been done in the last 2 years. He's owned it for over 3 years now. They only reason he is even considering selling after the work he's put in is because he found a great deal on a WRX wagon.

Also, the roof he had painted black the same time as the rust repair he had taken care of. I can send pic messages of the couple I have. lmk if you're interested at all, or else I'm sure we can help you find something else.:)

I would ask them about the check engine light being on.

Also, just so you know the OnStar system it has will no longer work. OS does not support the analog system anymore which is what that car has.

Looks like a nice car though!
