What grill?

What grill is this? A modified 97 grill or something custom?

Thats the Prototype SVX...

Notice the body cladding around and under the door, as well as the trunk integrated rear spoiler.

That photo is one of the original prototypes used to evaluate the final product before production.

Note the great spoiler design, the side skirts, and the large cooling opening in the front bumper.

who the heck thought twisting the rims would look better anyway???

I like the way that front end looks except for the wide / thin slit underneath the headlights. Other than that, looks pretty nice.

Doesn't Dayle sell those Cloud Sideskirts? That's basically what they look like installed right? I like that look, but the price tag is painful.

They look close, but not exact. The front and rear fenders of our cars are in line with the body, whereas the prototype has a wide-body bulge on the front and rear fenders.

Take a look at the front fender of the red prototype behind the front wheel.

I thought that picture showed stevesby's attempts at recreating the prototype look. My question now is why is a prototype a LHD and have USDM corner housings?

P.S. I would kill to have those fenders, bumper, and side skirts

He used it as reference, but its not his, there is another shot around here showing that car, from a different angle sitting next to the Amadeus...

The prototype was LHD. I just cannot believe they repainted it red. It looked SO badass in silver!

And what's with the "patch" on the bumper? The prototype gets no love from Fuji does it?

RSVX 04-08-2008 01:03 PM

Amadeus...

I don't know, but I'm glad they did.

I think the silver prototype was the original one for the motorshow and the red one is a slightly later one for testing purposes. I posted an article recently with a photo of a black prototype. But the black one is a lot closer to the production car look.

What is that white wagon parked next to the red car? It doesn't look like the Amadeus.
