Calling All Manual Transmission SVXS! Please check in here
Hi! I'd like it if everybody with a manual SVX could post pictures of their pedals. Yep. Their pedals. I just want to know if all of them have the clutch right near the brake pedals, or what?
Thanks! |
Woops, stupid me. Disregard this.:o :o
|
My clutch pedel is just to the left of the brake pedal. I would not like it any other place. :o
|
Every manual I've ever driven has a bit of a gap between the clutch and the brake, but fromw hat I know, every converted SVX, has the pedals literally right next to each other, with an open space left of the cluth pedal. This isn't very ergonomic, so I'm trying to figure out if any of the conversions will work for me, and how they were different.

I will try to get a picture of both of mine tomorrow when there is more light out. :)
|
That would be interesting since as far as I know subaru does the manual pedal box with the brake and clutch pedals in one unit and the gas in a second. I admit though the last pedal box I removed was from a 92 or 93 legacy turbo.

Also, a picture I found in TomsSVX's locker: (Hope you don't mind me posting your pictures Tom:o ) http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...sSVX/34285.JPG |
Mine uses the pedals out of an Impreza...so they have the exact same spacing as the Impreza.....so I don't know what you're talking about...
|
my black had the clutch pretty close to the brake pedal. sorry..i can't get any pictures for you. i know what you are getting at though
|
all suby pedals have the same distance apart... Only thing you can do with a hydro unit is bend the arms to seperate them... The cable unit can be modified to move the pedal over
