Will you still need me, will you still feed me.....

.....when I'm sixty-four????

Well, here it is :( - literally the eleventh hour of the day before (eastern daylight saving time) I become the subject of that year the Beatles immortalized back in the days when I thought I'd be immortal. Time do fly when you're not paying attention.
I still haven't gotten used to leaving the last century. " '05 Acura" just don't got the satisfying sound of saying, " '57 Chevy". But thanks to my '92 SVX, the great group of folks in here lending support to its creation, and an "occasional" toot from the box o' cheer, perhaps I'll hang in there long enough to spend all you youngins' social security pittance on tranny parts.

To commemorate this landmark occasion I raise my iced tea glass full o' vino to you all, & give you my 3000th post.

Ron (dirty elderly gentleman).

Salute!!! (klink!) :)

Ya better hurry on out there and invest. That cowboy up there has designs on your transmission fund. :D

Drop by sometime & I'll feed you (or at least give you a drink).

I look forward to your next 3000 posts.

Well, on this side of the duck Pond, it's closing in on the other side of the eleventh hour.

I hope you are going out tonight for a little celebration. Enjoy yourself, I'm raising a small glass of Box of Lagavulin to your good and continued health. Hope to make your acquaintance sometime.

Joe :)

Happy birthday Ron. As usual I was in a quandry, what to get the man that has had everything? As luck would have it, the perfect gift appeared right in front of me. Sorry I didn't do a better job of wrapping but I think you'll really appreciate the card on the outside of the box.

I hope it gets to you in time, I had little option other than to ship it 'ground'. I did give explicit directions to your address.
