Cupholder poll

Another thread where this came up, got me wondering about what everyone does for cupholders. You can vote for as many options as you actually use, I think I have all the options covered.

I have the factory cupholder, but don't use it. I use a wedgie for my cup holding needs.

No cupholders of any description in mine. I'd like to have the stock cupholders just to have them, but I wouldn't use 'em if I did.

After owning many vehicles without cup-holders, I usually just drink from bottles with caps or a spill-proof cup. I have never once missed a cup-holder in my SVX. My 1990 Legacy had cup holders that would only hold cans, they were as useless as not having one at all.

i usually have two large cups of coffee with me on the way to work, but sometimes four. i used to use only the wedgie, but i lost half the decent coffee mugs in teh divorce and now i only run the dishwasher 1/3 of the time, so sometimes i need to use both. i only have the factory cupholder for greenie, but it mostly resides in blackie. the only problem is getting the center console to open with only one hand. :(

I have the factory cup holder but don't use, have an aftermarket holder, and don't use it, but use wedigies when I need one. I usually don't like food or drink in the car. :)

The green SVX came with the stock cup holder, but I don't use it. I very (very) rarely allow drinks in my car. If I do...it's a bottle of water for me:rolleyes:. This way I can close it tightly.

currently propping drinks in between the passenger seatbelt, seat, and the ebrake. but i don't have a center console anymore. gotta get the supersize or this wont work

Nice!

But i like my cup holders. I have and use my stock holders daily. I don't allow food/drink in my car with the exception of 20oz bottles iwth screw on caps. Unfortuantly, there's no place to put it other than the cup holder. There's no indentation with the ebrake area, and it rolls right off the passanger seat while driving, as there's lots of stop and go traffic in my area. Then i can't reach it, and i get thirsty :(

My friends get upset when I don't allow them to bring food/drink into the car. I tell them to lose it or take the bus.

parts of my commute require two hand on the wheel. besides, who wants to hold a cup for an hour at a time?

you forgot the "center console" option

I'd say that falls into this one...

Prop it somewhere in the car and pray for no spillage.

I use the wedgie, but also have the aftermarket that is like the stock one (though I've never used it)
