Old Japanese cars..Brand new !!

I have found those in a forum, both are 1981 model year, and as the title suggest, they are still brand NEW!!

One is a 1981 Honda Accord with 77 Km (47 miles) and the other is an 1981 Honda Prelude with 81 Km (50 miles), they are in a Honda dealer in Switzerland.
I always love to see old japanese cars in good shape!
Enjoy!

I love that Accord, it is literally indestructable!

The only way to kill it is through a rusty body, but the mechanics are top notch!

My mechanic still own one, you wouldn't believe how it looks like... and it is still running!

Oh,yeah, the Accord is a great machine, i have a 1979 model year that i am making a ground up restoration and adding some personal touches. I have bought u$d 10.000 in parts to perform the restoration, in fact i purchased all the original parts stock from the dealer!
Take a look at it when i just purchased the car and how it looks now (still needs a lot of work)

Max, trust me, this Accord is still in good shape comparing my Mechanic's.

His car is bronze in color originally, it has red doors on one side (replaced and unpainted) and two front fenders both still on black metal primer. no bumpers, barely some floor sheets (rusted), rusted rear fenders beyond repair... the car barely has a chassis and a roof.

Why is he keeping it? The BEST mileage per gallon on a 500K kms engine!!!!!!!!!

Wow, cant believe that there is another Accord in worst shape than mine.. Trust me, my motor and front frame were holding in place by a big a$s chain and a wood piece over the strut mountings!:o

I knew a woman way back when who had an 80-something Prelude. Didn't that car have a factory-twin-carb setup?

Yeah, the early 2nd gen Preludes came with the A18A engine and dual carbs, the first gen like the one in the pictures untill 1982, came with only one carb.
