Ugh... time for a power wash...

After this last weekend I let my X sit for two days straight. Looked under it. No apparent leaks, at least nothing puddling on the carport. I know seals are failing left and right though as everything is dirty, I just don't know to what degree.

I give the fluids and stuff a once over. Everything wet is clean. One thing wet isn't supposed to be. Check out what I scraped off my air filter.

Note the shiny metal ducting.

Looks like dirt mixed with oil. Considering I have tiny oil leaks everywhere and and airbox exposed to the engine bay and no mudgaurd/skidplate I am not suprised.

I shoved that ducting through the box and fender to isolate it from the engine bay.

That should keep oil and large chunks of dirt from getting in there :S

The top of my block is pretty much covered in a thin layer of oil and dirt.

And I have never been able to find where exactly it leaks up there. I just assume some is the PS pump. On the bottom side my valve cover gaskets are leaking slowly, as you can see here.

The passenger pre cat is covered in a sludge. Always has been. But the whole valve cover is also dirty, and this is a new thing, so I looked under the manifold.

There is a chunk missing from it. I'm positive it's leaking from here, but I can't see it happening.
I watched it running the engine, and revved it up to 2k or so with no action.
My oil sender unit is also wet but it was supposed to have been replaced last year.
I let it sit running for 8 or 9 minutes though and backed it up and there were small puddles on the ground. Not sure where they are coming from as I can never catch it in the act.

Here's my plan.
Stop racing of any kind. Even spirited driving and lane changing. No more aggressive passing of slower drivers. No more ego trips on trucks that want to pass me.
Overall less driving.
Save up money for a gasket set.
Dismantle the engine and replace the gaskets one lazy weekend.

I'm thinking of spraying it down with degreaser and taking it to a self wash place.
