Engineers and Physicists on the Network?

With what appears to be a "critical mass" forming on the EG33 performance front, I was wondering just how many members of the network are card carrying engineers or physicists (yes, OT and YT, I'll also accept "by genetics" and "I would be if I had wanted to waste 4 years in college";))?

Does Software Engineering count?

BS in MIS, but now a software engineer by trade.

I was two years into Biomedical Engineering before i switched out... does that count? :D

Network Engineering?

Yep, software engineers tend to have a good "systems" approach to technical problems. Sign up!

Do you always look at the "larger picture" when faced with technical problems? If "yes", please sign up!

I have a question for all of you in the computer Tech world. I am after a Associates in Networking and a BS in Software Engineer. Possible a BS in Networking but what is the work like for any of you out there that do this. My love falls in 3 things, Brittany, my SVX and Computers. But Anyways would a degree in these yield a good occupation?

Not strictly engineering, but scientific anyway
:)

I've always consider Physicists as close cousins to Mechanical Engineers!:D

no engineer, but who would want to drive a train anyway:lol:

They do call me professor though;)
