engine skip??
 

hello, can anyone relate to this prob my svx is having, floor it and its fine, stomp on it at 30 its great, but just crusing around 50-60, 2500 or so rpms, it feels like it misfires a little like it drops a cyl for a second, like a misfire, does it sound like anything to you guys, im new at this svx thing, and would like your help in resolving its small issuse, so i can enjoy it thurougly??

I see your from new york, whereabouts? I am in the upstate are,it's not too common to see new york members on here. Sorry to hear about your problem, I haven't experienced it myself but if you need a mechanic I could recommend a couple of good ones depending on where you are. Good luck and welcome

I think I might be having a similar problem, although I have no clue what's causing it. When I'm on the highway and I lightly press down on the gas, I often feel the car actually decelerating a little bit. Is this similar to your problem? If so, It might be an ignition problem, perhaps spark plugs. I know that I've experienced misfires at idle at certain times and I'm guessing the two are related.

Man, I used to drive through Glens Falls about once a month...sometimes more...
