I especially like the discrete touches of knowledge on this car, like the Neuspeed sticker, a VW tuner.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Classic RICE!!!

Michael Blue 04-15-2004 08:26 AM

Someone came into the dealership with a light crayon-blue Festiva the other day...I quickly booked it ($300) and thought to myself:

hmm...17" white wheels, slammed, window tint, wing-on-roof, race fuel cap, those hard to find aftermarket Festiva race body kits (they do exist), carbon hood, as many LEDs as I could fit, HID projectors, shaved door handles, F1 carbon mirrors, the Mazda 323 GT/GTX twin-cam turbo swap, and a fart can the size of a saucer...yeah...that would do it!"

:D

A friend of mine has a very similar car, without all the rice. It's an Isuzu Impulse RS. Turbo, AWD. Very nice little car. I drove it for several hours one day, but was really amazed when he autocrossed it. That's one well-sorted car. If I could find one, I'd snatch it up.

There's one here Nick, want me to approach the owner to see if they would like to sell it?

I remember that vehicle catching my eye as I pull into a local tea shop where I frequently read. I can see if they would be willing to part with it.

What caught my eye was that it had 'genuine parts from lotus' on it :D.

ya, Isuzu commissioned a suspension from Lotus which basically amounted to the stiffest, thickest springs they could fit on that car and still have it be driveable. the things corner like they're on rails. I took one out for a drive about a year ago and what a hoot!! i'm regretting not finding the money to buy it, 'cause it would've been a *****in' little number to take out on nice days..

or to ice race :D

nah, a steam roller wouldn't be as fun...ripping apart the bumper would be more entertainment...especially when they do the doubletake 'WTF' like in the video. :D

You think parts for our cars are hard to come by? They made even less of those, but it sure would be a fun ride while it ran. :)
