Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MIEV Concept
 

Today at wal-mart I picked up a magazine and was looking through it. I found this, the Evo MIEV concept. http://www.japanesecarfans.com/news/...824.001.1M.jpg Its all electric, with in-wheel motors at all 4 corners and sports high density lithium-ion batteries in the floor to lower the center of gravity.

I thought this was pretty neat, each motor makes 67hp and 303lbft of torque. for a total of 286hp and 1,528lbft, the car makes sub-8sec 0-60mph runs and has a top speed of 112mph. not bad for an electric car.

now thats more like it, when electric cars can beat my svx, then i will get one as a daily driver hehe ;) , its about time we saw bigger power figures with electrics
