SVX aluminum door trim

I see sets of these on ebay; has anyone bought a pair?

How do they look in person, quality?

If I bought a pair I would most likely replace the plastic trim rather than stick these on top.

Let me know,

They aren't meant to replace anything. They are just garnish.
A friend of mine got them for his Mazda 6 and tried to convince me to get them, but I don't like throwing logos all over my car.

I've been working on SS/AL replacement sills for a while with my machinist. I should have pics of the finished products posted in a week or two. I was hoping to have them done by Reading, but my machinist got tied up in other work...

p.s. price for a pair should be within $10-20 of the replacement Subaru plastic pieces....

Right now, the plan is just for some "tasteful" ribs machined lengthwise. My machinist doesn't have the equipment to etch in an SVX/Alcoyne logo:(
