wiring madness

Guys and girls:

I just found out the problem to my passenger side window nightmare. I initially though it was the clip. The window works fine. I am having some trouble so help me out.

This is the situation. The window can only go up when I use the switch. I can not make the window to go down. I pulled everything apart and applied a -12v to the motor directly and the window goes down. When checked with a voltmeter, I get +12/0 instead of +12/-12.

If you have wiring diagrams, i would love to look at them right now. Randy: do you have those by chance?

Thanks

lwin

ps. the little pads are easy to remove. I am going to clean them.

looks like the master cluster was shorting out. I cheaned all the contacts again and straightened all the metal pieces. HOLY CRAP! MY WINDOWS GO DOWN NOW!!!

You don't know how happy I am at this time.

Lwin, glad you got it sorted out. Sorry I didn't get to your post earlier, so I could help.
