need some help
 

hey, im currently in the rochester (ny) area and im looking at a 94 svx lsi in amherst (also ny). however, i dont know what to look for when i go to look at this car. i was wondering if perhaps there was somebody around here that wouldnt mind giving up part of a saturday or sunday and going to check it out with me. anybody here to help a hopeful newbie?

i trust dealers about as far as i can throw an svx.

You've obviously not found the right dealer. Dont blame all dealers because you had a bad exierience with one. Thank you.

in my lifetime ive found one dealer which i would actually trust. one or two others have been acceptable, but not what id call good.

i guess the other part of my problem is that im up here for college so i really dont know any of the dealers around here though. my instinct is to be very suspicious of dealers, and experience has taught me that in the absence of other input, trust instinct.
