I really wanted to fix the exterior and keep it for ever, but the little wifey won out in the end. However, there is a silver lining. I will be able to replace it with another fun car . . . A VW W8 Four Motion. Not "more" fun, but an interesting drive and she can drive it as well. ;)

Thats how all the L models are in the US. My 95 L has a manual drivers seat. I kind of like it.

That is the headliner found on SVX models that are not equipped with a sunroof.

I suspect this is a rust free car and as such would be a much better buy than any of the Northern cars even with some of the hail damage and bad windshield.

Yes Lee that is correct. It is rust-free. Just needs a little body work and paint prep and she is ready to dance!;)

BTW, if anyone on here who lives back east in PA or NJ for example is interested in the car, I could probably drive it from Oklahoma and close the deal out there. We have several pipeline jobs ongoing in the area and I could maybe use that as an excuse to visit those jobs and drive the SVX instead of my truck. Or, just rent a U-Haul trailer at the buyer's expense and pull it out there, or most anywhere in between Oklahoma and NJ with my truck. Just a thought.:)
