Ford Concept Car-Shelby GR-1

This has been around for several months, but I have just run across it here in the Auto Show in NM. I think it is one sweet car!!!

If that car is light then our cars must be superlight!

You are right. At 3900 pounds it is not light overall, but it sure looks sweet and projected potential of 200+ mph.

However, I do not understand all I know about it. It has a V-10 engine and "rear mounted" transmission. It has some kind of strange driveshaft. I could not see under the car, so I am not sure how all of this works?????

Weight distribution should be good and with the power and weight--it should be one sweet driving car.

The sexiest thing about the car is the gauge package.

How would that look in an SVX?
