There was also a red one. Those are the Super Contach...(ok I cant spell it). The increased output and put the car well into the 200MPH range. The tst driver nearly totalled the prototype at 208 when the nose lifted. Lambo just figured they'd slap a wing on the front to hold the front down. They went with the K.I.S.S. method of redesigning the aerodynamics of the car to make it safer.

I wish I could see that link without having it bring my machine to its knees. Firefox doesn't like something about it.

speaking of exotics, I've seen a couple recently - in Champaign, IL, of all places. A few weeks ago, on the way to the Toyota dealer in Urbana, a Venturi 400GT passed by. No kidding. Then this morning, on my way to my wife's school to drop off a sub plan, I caught a Bentley Continental GT in my rear view. I thought, 'no way,' and then it passed me. Yup, sure was. The plate read 'YOYOYO.'

If I remember correctly, that was stock on the early ones. I always thought it had to do with the bumper being too low for US laws. Shortly after that, the ones with the big blocks on the bumper started showing up.

I do remember that the black Countach in Cannonball Run had the same thing.

There were alot of red x's when it finally finished loading. Alot of Italian cars. Mechanics must be rich in Japan. Where are the 959's? As fast as a F40 and it had leather interior, air, power windows, and a CD player. The F40 was full of carbon fiber, felt, and had plastic Lexan windows. The 959 was also AWD. I'll take German over Italian anyday.

I say a couple Esprits in that group...they must have been embarassed! :D
