can I swap out my abs unit under the hood?

My current one is leaking and I have a donor car here that I could swap it with maybe? Or is it a major issue because of the solid break lines?

Don't see why you couldn't, are you certain yours is failed?
Definitely download the svx manual from the site as well.

yes it can be done... Make sure you bleed the system out thoroughly

+1 the manual walks through the bleed procedures as well as troubleshooting. Just curious did you check your ABS system for trouble codes?

I didn't catch mine in time and ended up rear ending someone (low speed) because of it... Get it taken care of ASAP
