WOOT! Sometimes I love our system. Most times, in fact.

Unfortunately, iTunes actually checks for licenses before putting the songs on the iPod, so even though I can go download crazy I can't use half of the songs away from my computer. I'm sure there's ways around that though.

I got a bluetooth(BT) keyboard and BT laser mouse so I can compute, administer servers, and play games from the floor without the dogs eating my cords!:D

Crazy_pilot 12-30-2006 03:19 PM

Hahaha, good stuff. What model is it? I have the Logitech Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The mouse is the MX 1000 and the keyboard is MX 5000. What do you think of it?

Budfreak 12-30-2006 03:31 PM

I got a polaroid 3.2 megapixel camera(no more crappy photos from me!!:D), some new 18V rechargeable tools,Blue low, high and fog lights for my SVX, and I'm getting a belated present once I find myself another SVX to fix up and drive daily so Road Demon can go full out and become my racer.;)

Yes, That is what I got, with the little lcd screen on the keyboard. I like it a bunch. I think the drivers are a bit bloated and occasionally I get mouse lag. I do not know why. I am assuming this will be addressed with more new bloated drivers.

Actually, due to lack of money, parts breakage (and needing many new sensors) I did not race any NHRA points events in 05 or 06. I did a few club races as to not let my team mates down in the club series and it allowed for another consecutive season club win. If money allows, I hope to do the weight reduction and at least a tranny change to 4:10 or 4:44 this winter before the season starts. I have the tranny in the second car and I just need to work a few bugs out so it can be transitioned into the daily driver. If all goes well I hope to return to NHRA in 2007 full force. It would be a Christmas present to myself!:D

ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh you lucky bugger........ ;) :p

Chris:

Ya, I find I get a irritating amount of lag with the mouse, and the keyboard occasionally hangs too. It definitely isn't a great set up for gaming. Sometimes the mouse will just sort of refuse to move more than an inch or so for a couple minutes.

I do, however, love being able to bring the keyboard to the couch and still control my music :D :D :D

I got a nice 18V Dewalt set that included an Impact Wrench, Impact Driver, Jig saw, Grinder, 1/2 gal Shop Vac and Portable light.

My fiance gave me a Craftsman AL Racing Jack, and 25-250 ft/lbs Tourque Wrench.

Her mom came through with a 263 pc Craftsman Socket/wrench set.

The Grandparents got a set of Craftsman Pro Series Screwdrivers and a Tape Measure.

Bought myself a nice 10 drawer chest to put it all in.

Well, yea. I bought my present for myself as well. I was using a 4 year old Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse before, but it just went haywire. I dont know if the unit just failed, or if it was conflicting with some other new device in the neighborhood on the old school 27mhz frequency. I tried to go back to normal wired devices, but the new additions to the family like to chew through cords in Olympic like times. Three ethernet cords and a game pad cord all have become casualties real quick.

If the JVC unit is the one I am thinking it might be, do me a favor and post a picture or link and tell me what you think of it. If its the same unit I am looking at, when money permits, I plan to install this in the other SVX (daily driver car).
